The time honored method is pressing. Carefully place the rose between two pieces of waxed paper inside a book and close it. After three to five days, stand the book between others in a bookshelf to apply more pressure to the bloom. about 30 days is average to get a nice pressed rose, suitable for framing. Another method is silica drying. Purchase enough silica to cover the rose and it's stem. Pour about an inch of silica into a container to start, then place the rose on top of the silica. Gently cover the rose, being careful not to pour too quickly in order to preserve the shape of the blossom. Let dry 5-7 days, or according to manufacturer's directions.
