There is an SD card on the left side of the Macbook Pro ( the latest model )

  1. insert the SD card into the slot
  2. Open 'Finder' This is the first icon on the dock at the bottom of the screen
  3. in the menu bar on the left 'SD card' or the name of the SD card should appear
  4. Click on it to open it
  5. you should be able to see all of your photos or videos. click on them to open
  6. you can 'drag' them into another folder or copy and paste them somewhere else.

OR

  1. Insert the SD card
  2. On the desktop 'SD Card' or the name of the SD Card should appear
  3. Click on it to open it
  4. you should be able to see all of your photos or videos. click on them to open
  5. you can 'drag' them into another folder or copy and paste them somewhere else.

AND REMEMBER..

Before you take out the SD Card you must 'Eject' it. This is done by right clicking or secondary clicking on the name of the SD Card and clicking eject (the name is displayed in the Finder or on the Desktop) This is just to let the software know that the card can now be removed safely and that no files are being transferred.
