No you cannot scan with the hp deskjet 3000. It does not have a scan feature.
how to scan from hpdeskjet f4280 to my e-mail
"The Hp Deskjet F380 is an all in one printer that can print, fax, scan and copy in one system. Other functions are available and will depend on manual."
The type of computer accessory that uses a deskjet cartridge is an HP printer. HP printers allow you to print out documents from your computer, scan documents and fax documents.
mine does the same thing, it used to work.
Hewlett Packard is a very popular brand of printers. The premiere printer sold by Hewlett Packard is the HP Deskjet. The HP Deskjet printer is consider an all-in-one printer. This means that it not only prints documents but also can scan documents and send faxes all from one compact design.
Basically these two printers print with equal quality, but the main difference is that the Officejet is bigger, faster, and will cost you more money. They are most commonly found in the office setting (hence the name) whereas the Deskjet is for the common user.
Well, darlin', that number seems to be for HP printer support. So if your printer's acting up, give 'em a ring. Just make sure you have your printer model and serial number handy, 'cause those tech folks love details. Good luck getting your printer back in line, honey!
place the paper where that thing on top opens and then close it. on the side here is three buttons one with a x and others with gray and green color. if u want the copy in color click on the green and if u want it in black click the gray on. just leave it and it will come out Monkey above doesn't know the difference between a SCAN and a COPY. The answer they gave was not one for the question asked. That didn't help either. Just insert picture then open "hp solution center" installed in your pc. A window will appear click on scan pictures. click on "picture to file" then click on scan then click on ok... your pics will be scanned
