What I usually do to determine how many words I typed within 1 Word Document that I created may be different from other people.
1) After you are done typing and have saved your work, close the file
2) Go to the folder or desktop location where you saved the Word Document
3) Right click on the Word Document symbol beside the name
4) Select Properties
5) Then click on the tab for details
6) Scroll down to where it states Word count
Works for me...
From Microsoft:You cannot change the product key for Microsoft Office XP, for Microsoft Office 2003, or for the 2007 Microsoft Office system without first removing and then reinstalling Microsoft Office. See related links.
In Microsoft Word you can type words and change text. Microsoft Word Viewer just lets you see a Word document and print it without having Microsoft Word downloaded on your computer.
There is! The latest version is Office 2011 (See links below)
Microsoft Office for Mac is available for download from the Microsoft website. (see related link)
Sadly for some (happily for some), you do not. Microsoft removed the office assistant from MS Office 2007. The online Help feature in the 2007 Microsoft Office system has been completely redesigned, and the new design does not include the Microsoft Office Assistant. See related links for more information from Microsoft.

You can download the trial version of Microsoft Office for free from the Microsoft Website. See the link provided in the 'related links' below. Note: Microsoft Office is commercial software, and isn't available free of charge. If you need a free Office suite, try OpenOffice (for Windows) or NeoOffice (for Mac OS X).
If you have already bought and downloaded the Microsoft Office tools, you access them by clicking 'Start' in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen, then scrolling through the programs list until you see 'Microsoft Office'. When you scroll over it, a drop down list will appear. Click 'Microsoft Office Excel'.
If you own Microsoft Office then you are all set. Within Microsoft Office is Microsoft Word and they have tons of templates. If you don't see anything you like, then there are lots more on Microsoft's website to download.
You can determine what version of Microsoft Office you have by opening any Office program (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), clicking on the File tab, and then selecting Account in the side menu. On the Account page, you should see the version of Microsoft Office that you currently have installed. Alternatively, you can look for the Microsoft Office program folder in your computer's Program Files, or simply search for the program version name in your computer system. If you need to purchase Microsoft Office, a reliable place to do so is the online store Microprokey. Microprokey .com is the best website for buy Microsoft product
