There are generally a couple of ways to accomplish this for any brand of range extender: either by Wifi Protected Setup (aka WPS) or through an installation wizard/installation software that comes with the extender. In either case, the extender needs to be configured to look for the right wireless network that it is to extend and the appropriate wireless network keycode (frequently called a password). At that point, the extender will either start billing itself across the airwaves as either the same network name as the one that it is extending or advertise itself as the same name but with the suffix of _EXT (such as the original network name being MyNet and the extender being MyNet_EXT).
