Windows button + C > Settings > Accounts
Mouse Scroll to bottom Right of Screen > Settings > Accounts
hit the sign-out button with your mouse

As of 2013 the catalog of Windows 8 phone apps has not been made available on the Windows 8 OS.
You can update to Windows 8 by purchasing a Windows 8 installation disk but make sure your hardware can support the update.
