Press the insert button located above the backspace on your keyboard.

Hit the insert (INS) key on your keyboard. Most likely insert is turned on or off, and that can enable the space bar to remove (delete). Press it and check the space bar in a document. If it is still deleting, press insert one more time and try again.

We can delete text in MS Word by using the delete button on the keyboard. You can also use the backspace or even the space bar button to delete unwanted text.
I'm not sure if it is really possible to centre text on Horseisle, because i have tried doing it. I would ask a Mod if i were you. HOWEVER if you really want to centre text right away, i would do the following: space space space space BLAH BLAH BLAH space space space space space space space space space BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH space space space space space space space space space BLAH BLAH BLAH space space space space space So pretty much, all you're really doing is just pressing the space bar until you get to the spot where you want the text.

At the bottom of the document, under auto shapes there is the bar with things such as page 1 and sec 1 on it. Double click on OVR. It should turn from black to a much paler colour. This will stop text from overlapping.
The Enter key is used to execute commands or create a new line in text, while the Space bar adds a space between characters. The Delete key removes text or objects to the right of the cursor, whereas the Backspace key deletes text or objects to the left of the cursor. Essentially, Enter and Space serve different purposes for input and formatting, while Delete and Backspace are both used for deletion but affect different sides of the cursor.
