If you want to move photos and videos from your iPhone to your Mac, it’s actually pretty easy. The simplest way is using a cable: Just plug your iPhone into your Mac, unlock it, and tap “Trust This Computer” if it pops up. Then open the Photos app on your Mac. Your iPhone should show up on the side. From there, you just pick what you want and click Import. If you don’t want to use a cable, AirDrop works too: Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, open Photos on your iPhone, select the stuff you want, hit Share, and send it to your Mac via AirDrop. Accept it on the Mac, and it’s done. There’s also Image Capture: Plug your iPhone in, open Image Capture on your Mac, choose your device, and just download the files to a folder. It’s pretty straightforward and works well if Photos feels slow. And if you like automatic backup: Turn on iCloud Photos on both devices, and everything syncs by itself over time. If you want more control, a third-party tool is a good choice. Tools like Coolmuster iOS Assistant, iMazing, or AnyTrans let you browse your iPhone and export selected photos/videos. Useful for bulk transfers or when you want more control than the built-in options. You can choose the one you like better.
