Use a Typing program or a Typing book that will teach how to type and type faster.

The best way to learn how to type quickly and without looking at the keyboard is the same way you get to Carnagie Hall ... practice, practice, practice! Just sit down, look at your notes, and start typing. Don't worry about making mistakes at first -- just practice typing without looking at the keys. Once you get to where your fingers know where each key is, then you can start thinking about correcting the mistakes! You can always go back and edit those.
