I uninstalled from programs in Vista (look for maxmyspeed and delete it) and... it did NOT work, BUT... after that I went to the "Safe Mode" (control panel + admin tools + system configuration) and being in Safe Mode, I did the same (uninstall the program looking for maxmyspeed and deleted it) I do restart and IT WORKS ! I have restarted 3 times and the maxmyspeed pop-up doesn't appear anymore!
