A fingerprint reader can be used to do a number of things like logging on to Windows, access password protected web sites etc. Once you have registered your fingerprint, next time when you are prompted for passwords, just swipe your finger on the reader and you should be able to gain access to whatever it is that you are doing.

Passwords can provide good security for your computer and your files, but those passwords can only go so far. Passwords can be lost or stolen, or a clever hacker can use a program to capture the passwords or even guess them. Biometric security takes physical security a step further by requiring users to scan their fingerprints to gain access to their computers. Since no two fingerprint patterns are the same, you can be sure that this system protects your computer from unauthorized access.InstructionsInsert the software installation CD that came with the fingerprint lock. Install the software according to the manufacturer's instructions. The exact setup process varies from model to model.Connect the fingerprint reader to a free USB port on the computer when prompted. Do not connect the fingerprint reader or power it on until prompted during the software installation.Place your fingertips on the reader when prompted. The software then reads your fingerprints and stores them in the system. Each time you log on you must scan your fingerprint and the software compares that reading to the one stored in memory.Shut down your computer and wait for it to power off. Restart the computer and wait for the unit to request a fingerprint scan. Press your fingertips to the reader and wait for it to read the fingerprint patter

If you have a memory card reader (or a laptop with a card reader built into it) and a usb port you won't have to use the software. Just plug the card into the card reader (if you have a laptop than you can plug the card directly into the computer). Open the card and transfer the music you would like to hear to the music folder and your done. Its really that simple, no disks, no "verizon kit" and no 'SYNC'ing.
The fingerprint....You use it to get in the BAD HQ.
