no not really. it will disolve in to the pools chemicals and that's what makes it invisable. :] The concentration from one or two little accidents is too small to see, but it is urine, perspiration etc that is responsible for sore eyes etc. In chlorine-treated pools at least, they react with the disinfectant to produce unpleasant irritants and release chlorine. The chlorite itself does not cause irritation when used in the correct dilution (2 - 4ppm).

Is it safe for females to take a bleach bath?
Yes. contrary to popular opinion, the vagina is rather "self sealing" and the bleach water should not get in. The only way for this to happen is to manually open the vaginal opening, and even then it is not likely to penetrate without a nozzle. Otherwise, the cleansing action of the bleach will destroy contaminating germs and bacteria on the skin. The "recipe" for a bleach bath is 1/4 cup of bleach to a whole, full tub of water. More than this amount can irritate the skin and tender private parts.
Can you use bleach after face scrub?
NO Because when you scrub you pores open up, and if you bleach afterwards it will burn. I suggest that you bleach in the morning and then do the scrub in the evening. Or do the bleach night before and wake up and scrub. ++++ I suggest you NEVER wash yourself in bleach - whatever the time of day! I don't know where this stupid notion comes from - maybe the same Hollywood has-beens who sell fad diet books to the terminally gullible - but I have even seen a thread on the merit or not of bathing babies in household bleach without apparently worrying about concentration... Ye Gods! Bleach is a strong irritant unless its active ingredient, calcium hypochlorite, is diluted to <4ppm (swimming-pool level). Then it is safe, but you may as well use straight tap-water (chlorinated to about 2ppm at the treatment works). Milton Fluid (not sure if sold in America) for sterilising babies' feeding-bottles and the like is the same stuff already at a very low concentration.
How much chlorine to add to 18x52 above ground pool?
We got the large floater and use 3 tabs until it is where we want it and then adjust the holes down until it 'maintains'. Wish we found all this out at the beginning of the season! Our pool is a 16' x 48" round metal frame. You have to place a chlorine floater in the pool and adjust it to accommodate the gallons in your pool. Keep the floater adjusted until the chlorine level is between 3-4ppm. You can do this buy using a dip test strip. You always want to maintain that chlorine level for proper sanitation. Use 1'' Chlorine tablets. Invest in test strips. We use the Aqua Chem brand because Walmart carries it and our other pool supplies. You can go to Aqua Chem's website to online test your pool and they let you know how much of which chemical your pool needs. We also use a floater, but we have had to superchlorinate with the liquid at times.
