You must type out the words or install voice recognition software.
A computer system that executes commands based on it's interpretation of spoken words.
It depends which voice recognition software you have, there are many brands. I am using voice recognition software right now :) The primary function of voice recognition software is to be able to speak to it, and have it accurately and quickly write down your words. I use Dragon naturally speaking version 10 preferred, and I can (although I don't) navigate my whole computer, including opening and closing windows, clicking on links, and scrolling up and down, without ever once touching my computer. A good voice recognition software will come equipped with a wide vocabulary, but it will also pick up on your vocabulary and speech patterns quickly.
It depends on your voice and its recognition capabilities. Many voice recognition devices that come with the software are of lower quality than the software that the computer normally comes with. The windows 7 recognition software in my opinion is better than Dragon speech.
If you are dyslexic like me,voice recognition software has many benefits, however I shall not go into them as that is not what you asked. Many people who use voice recognition software (including myself) like it for many reasons, one of which is that you can get your thoughts down on paper much faster. If you are an author, you may find it easier. Did you ever have the sensation that your mind is going too fast for your fingers? Will if you have voice recognition software that will never happen again, you can write as fast as you can speak, and it's almost 100% accurate, regardless of background noise. Another advantage is for people who have carpal tunnel, or other physical disabilities. Some people who have ADD or ADHD say that it is easier because it keeps their minds completely occupied. Sometimes when you type, you find that your mind is wandering, and you lose your train of thought, of course, you lose your train of thought when you're speaking sometimes, but it happens a lot less often. Also, voice-recognition software does not make any typos, and knows every word you will ever want to use in casual conversation, although I have had to teach mine some words like prestidigitation, but it learns very easily. I am using my voice recognition software right now, and highly recommend Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 10 preferred.
No, it is not possible. Modern voice recognition will work one phrase to one sentence behind, as it is necessary to recognize the context of the words to determine their spelling. If you want to no what wood happen if all words whir spelt by computer as they whir spoken, just reed this sentence.

Keyword Spotting: Detects specific words or phrases within spoken language, often used in voice-activated systems.
The popular program called VueScan is used for many things. Its main purpose is to scan images and recognize optical characters and turn them into words on the screen.
1. The Disadvantages of using Voice Recognition Software is that it can not understand all the words we speak even after hours of training. Another disadvantage is that every time you want to put a capital letter, full stop, comma etc you have to say it.
I am 15, severely dyslexic, and I use voice recognition software for everything I do on the computer, including things like writing this comment. I have worked with many different voice recognition software programs, but by far the most accurate and fast voice recognition software I have been able to find, is Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 10 preferred. it is fairly expensive, but if you tell them you have a learning disability (I don't know if you do) when you call the company, they will probably give you a discount. My voice recognition software is insanely accurate, came equipped with a really wide vocabulary, learns words quickly, allows me to talk to it very quietly, and still understands what I am saying, is a very small bar on the screen, has very few bugs and hangups, and overall I really can't give it a better review!!
Babies typically begin to recognize phonemes, the smallest units of sound that distinguish words in a language, around 6-8 months of age. This ability improves as they grow and hear more language input, leading to better language recognition and production.
The brain can recognize colors faster than read words because color recognition is processed in the visual system, which is quicker than language processing. This is due to different neural pathways and cognitive mechanisms involved in each task.
