I have three pregnant rats. They are about 8 months old and 3-4 weeks along. They got pregnant as soon as we got the male and he was much young. I'm sure they could have gotten pregnant a lot younger. I know this wasn't a straight forward answer but this is my first experience allowing them to breed. They are great pets...I love them.
No because the Rat Terrier is to little. It is without forces still.
A brown rat will be pregnant for around 21 days. A Polynesian rat will be pregnant for 21-24 days.
Not before the rat eats the mouse.
A pregnant rat has up to about 20 baby rats.
Usually when they make a donut shaped nest they are pregnant
Rats can get pregnant as young as 5 weeks of age and if they have been in contact with a rat of the opposite sex, they can become pregnant within minutes. A rat's pregnancy lasts for approximately 21 days.
When it is pregnant or has been desexed.
No. Not the same species.
If your rat is nesting and starting to get nipples, she may be pregnant, but it is possible that she is having a 'phantom pregnancy' where a rat show the signs of being pregnant but doesn't give birth to offspring.
Yes I have a 9 week old rat with a 3 week old rat. Just be readdy for some unfair squabbling. My nine week old used to pick on the young one now they snuggle and everything.
Its approximately 80 years old. But if its 3 years it 100.
If baby rats are not separated (males and females) around 5 or 6 weeks, it is possible for the females to become pregnant. It is also not recommended to breed a female until it is about 4 months old.
