Sophie Gibb didn't invent the computer. In fact there is no record of a Sophie Gibb who had any significant role in the development of the computer. That honour is credited to Charles Babbage in 1812, when he was 21. It took him a further 10 years to design but lack of funding prevented completion of the build. His design for Difference Engine No.2 was finally built in 1991, proving the original designs would have worked had the British government given him the much-needed funding. Nevertheless, he is credited as being the father of the modern computer.

It is worthwhile looking at ABC Computer in Wikipedia.
