Normally, on a laptop or notebook, there is an on/off button for the Touchpad.
Sometimes, this is just above the Touchpad itself and may have a light indicator alongside the button also. Press the button, the light goes out, and the pad is disabled.
Or, the button will be somewhere on the top row of keys/functions of the keyboard. You may have to press a special 'fn' key + this Touchpad key together, in order to turn it off.
To turn off the touchpad, you can goto the Control Panel and double click the Mouse properties icon. Click the Device Select tab and check "Disable Device". The cursor will no longer move via the touchpad.
Press "shift" while typing on turn on "Caps Lock".
From your home screen, Settings, Call, Call Settings, Turn off Vibrate, menu Save. DONE
there should be a button right by it and when you click it a light will come on saying its off.

There is no way to disable the DTrs while driving, they are a safety issue. To turn off the DTRs, push down slightly on the parking brake pedal and the lights will go out.
The keypad is what you use to dial, so you can't turn off the keypad when dialing. That's like asking how to turn off the keyboard when typing.
You can see what programs are active or not in the startup tab by typing in msconfig in the run command. You cannot add programs to the list, they appear automatically. However, you can choose which programs in the list start automatically when you turn on your computer by checking the Enable or Disable box for each program.
Not sure how to while you're driving, but if your parked - press in on your e-brake, turn your car off, then turn it on and your lights won't be on. To turn them back on, simply release the brake.
