sftp works pretty much the same way as regular ftp, except that it utilizes port 22 and uses an encrypted stream for the actual file transfer.
So, if you know how to use ftp you know how to use sftp as well..

Filezilla always works. I can't say that about winscp.
The SCP (secure copy) utility copies an ordinary or directory file from one system to another on a network SFTP is a secure FTP Client.

A URL has a protocol so the formatter can distinguish it from a unix path. Most protocols use slashes to show different paths, like unix slashes(/), but a URL usually has special formatting characters, such as what comes after an ampersand, question mark, number signs, equal signs, not to mention the protocol at the beginning, like http, shttp, ftp, sftp and other internet protocols.

Example of multi-user OS include Unix server & thin client.. In the Unix server, multiple remote users have the access to the Unix shell at the same time. In the case of thin client, multiple X WINDOW sessions are spread across various terminals. These terminals are powered by a single machine.
There is no traditional 'execute' command in Unix.
