You are most certainly not overweight! You are lucky to have extra height "5'8" and could carry even an extra stone (10.2) without looking overweight. Your fine! Keep calm and carry on.

Stick to diets ! its the best way and do regular exercise Agreed, eat a sensible diet and exercise 20 to 30 minutes a day. The weight will eventually come off.....don't be discouraged if it doesn't come off fast. It took a while to put on the weight so it should take some time to come off. Also, a trick is not to weight yourself everyday....just do it once a week. You won't get discouraged by the daily fluxuations but by a bigger loss weekly.
At 5ft8" you should weigh anywhere between 125 Pounds (8st13) and 164 Pounds (11st10) Anywhere between those 2 values will give you a BMI between 19 and 24.9 which is considered to be healthy, however around 22-23 (around 140 Pounds) would give the most ideal weight
I am assuming you are a guy, if you are a guy, don't worry, you SHOULD NOT, lose wieght because atm, your BMI is at perfect range, and anywhere between 125-160 is good. I am 151 5ft8 and My friends call me jacked and etc. Don't worry, and if you are a girl, that is problem the best weight for you.
