Desktop is way cheaper.
It depends on what technical specifications you are after. You can buy a mini netbook for around $400AUD which is cheaper than the price of any desktop but has less specificatons. Desktops start at around $700AUD.
if your going to go somewhere to practice sometimes laptop, but if your only practicing in 1 place (like your room or something) then a desktop.
Well that's up to you, Laptops are cheaper, and can go places, but don't have as many ports or bytes of space as a desktop.
laptop is better because its easy to carry and it has same function as desktop so i will prefer to laptop of apple the best ..:) +++ Ah yes, it's convenient for you because it's portable, but that does not make the laptop objectively "better" than the desktop of equivalent power and software. Really, it's a meaningless question because it does not set any properly objective criteria on which to base the comparison..
There is no way. You would have a buy a PC.
It is typically cheaper to buy a desktop that has the software already installed. Computer manufacturers frequently get discounts on this software that are not available to the end-user.
These days a laptop can do anything that a desktop can do plus with the added benefit of being mobile. I built a super fast top-of-the-line desktop 1 year ago, the laptop i bought for half the price 6 months ago was faster. Therefore there is only one reason left to build or buy a desktop and that is slightly cheaper components and price. For me, I will never buy or build another desktop for myself.
Buying a wireless card depends on if your wanting to use the laptop while not near the desktop. You can buy network cables to connect the two computers as well.
