Prior to Microsoft Office 2007 the native file formats for word documents were .DOC, with the templates using .DOT. You can still save in these file formats with newer versions of Office, but you can lose some of the formatting used in a newer document that was not supported on legacy versions.
There is actually a 'Recovery' column once an error occur in Microsoft word but if it is because you had forgotten to save, then there would be no more solution except to redo.
If you remove Microsoft Office from your computer, you will lose access to its suite of applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, which are used for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations. Any files created in these applications may become inaccessible unless opened with compatible software. Additionally, you may need to find alternative applications for your document-related tasks, which could disrupt your workflow. However, you can reinstall it later if needed.
The Microsoft Office Suite of software is the universal tool for business productivity. Office Suite can be obtained by direct download from Microsoft or purchased from many online and high street retailers. Be wary of cheap offers; they may not be legitimate versions. The software may not pass validation and verification and you may lose your money.
Because that version is old and crappy, and did not have the technology to Upload images onto the Internet.
download the drivers from the Microsoft website
According to Notch, the trial is still going on.
Microsoft Office for Mac was introduced for Macintosh in 1989, before Office was released for Windows. It included Word 4.0, Excel 2.20 and PowerPoint 2.01. Since then, Microsoft has released new versions for Mac every few years. In June 2010, Microsoft will release Office 14 for Mac. The Office .exe application is for Windows. The Office .app application is for Mac.
They will probably lose the trial. Do not miss something as important as that.

Talk to a lawyer and see if you can appeal the judgement.
The Microsoft Windows series of operating systems could be considered the most used computer program as well as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Internet Explorer. While these programs are not "popular," they are the ones used most often by the greatest number of people. (One contributor notes that an operating system is not a computer program in the sense that the asker probably intended.)
