I assume you are using a rifle not a gun. Almost any of the hunting ( Hollow Point ) pellets will do the job. Beeman makes a good 7.2 grain hollow point. I like hollow point because they mushroom when they hit the target. Small hole going in, large hole coming out. Predator also make a very good hunting pellet, it's 8 grain and bone crushing. Can a pellet gun kill a Canada goose?

It is possible, Yes, But it depends on the caliber, Weight of the pellet, the FPS of the gun. I suggest using a Pellet rifle not a pellet gun. I suggest a head shot using hollow point pellets. Also a license may be required to hunt the goose

Should pellets fall out the barrel after loading?

Not normally unless you are using the wrong size pellet. Example: you have a .20 caliber rifle and you put in a .177 caliber pellet. Then Yes it will fall out. Check the barrel of the rifle and see what size pellet it uses

When you put a 22cal pellet in gun and lower the gun the pellet will fall out should it do that?

No it should not. Are you sure the air gun is a .22 caliber not a .25 caliber. Air you loading it right? Are you loading it through the breech? You are using an air gun not a real gun.

To kill a large squirrel would it be a better choice to shoot a 10.5 grain lead pellet or a 5 grain alloy pellet for a headshot?

Personally I would use the heaver pellet, it doesn't have to be 10.5. Heaver pellets fly straighter. Light weight pellets are influenced by crosswind. This is why you don't find competition shooters using light pellets.

In the fractionation of homogenised cells using centrifugation the primary factor that determines whether a specific cellular component ends up in the supernatant or the pellet is?

the size and density of the cellular component. Components with larger sizes or higher densities will pellet at higher speeds during centrifugation and end up in the pellet fraction, while smaller or less dense components will remain in the supernatant.

How much does a pellet gun that can kill a squirrel cost?

If it's a pellet gun them most pellet guns are capable of killing a squirrel. Check the FPS (Feet per Second) and if it's over 400 FPS that should be sufficient. Expect to pay $60 and up for a pellet gun. Crosman makes an excellent pellet gun that is rated at 610 FPS Called the American Classic and it cost $70. I also suggest using Hunting (Hollow point pellets) these will be the most effective.

Need more information on pellet stoves?

Pellet stoves burn small wood pellets, which are dispensed from a hopper by an auger (similar to a giant screw). Fans provide oxygen for combustion and distribute heat. Most pellet stoves are self-igniting, using an electric igniter similar to a car's cigarrete lighter.

How do C02 pellet guns actually work?

CO2 pellet guns work by using CO2 for rapid fire, with CO2 the gun does not need to be pumped or recorked after every fire. You can also find spring loaded pellet guns.

What is the formula used for feet per second and grain weight of pellet in the UK for air rifles?

There is no formula. They are independent entities. Using both sets of information then the energy delivered may be derived. If other variables are included

What is the velocity needed to kill a turkey with a body shot from an air gun?

It has nothing to do with velocity. It has more to do with the size, weight and shape of the pellet. I recommend a .25 Cal or larger pellet. (Yes Pellet rifles come in different sizes) The smallest to the largest are .177, .20, .22, .25, 9mm, 357 cal, 45 Cal, and 50 Cal. I also recommend using hunting (hollowpoint) pellets. The heaver the better the knock-down power. (Pellets come in different weights.) Also check to see if your location allows hunting with a pellet gun.
