Slide Sorter view displays thumbnail sized representations of all slides in your presentation.
You can show only 1 slide show at a time. It could be viewed by pressing F5 key inside the presentation.
You work in Normal View to do that.
You can only really actually work with one at a time. However, if you are using a Master Slide, you can affect all slides on your presentation. You can also do things to some or all of your slides in the Slide Sorter, like setting transitions. How many slides you can have will depend on the amount of memory you have, but it is not good design practice to have too many slides in a presentation.
In Microsoft PowerPoint, the Slide Sorter view displays a miniature of each slide making it easy to reorder slides, add special effects and transitions, and set timing between the slides.
The easiest way to see the next slide in slideshow view is to simply press the right arrow key on your keyboard or click the mouse. Alternatively, you can use the spacebar to advance to the next slide. If you're using a presentation remote, pressing the "Next" button will also work.
Normal View is the default view in PowerPoint, and it lets you work in three working areas at the same time.
