That would be the "Program Files" folder. It is usually on C: drive. With a 64 bit system you will have a "Program Files" folder, and a "(x86) Program files" folder.
The program itself will usually be in a separate folder in the "Program file" folder. It will either have the name of the program or the name of the program Company. If the folder is named after the company then the program will be in a separate folder inside the company folder.
If you want to move a program to another folder, uninstall the program then re-install in the new location. You have to uninstall the program to remove all the current registry entries, particularly those that refer to the original installation folder.
If it comes as a disk image called programName.dmg you double click the icon to start the installer and follow the instructions therin. If it is the actual program in a folder you just drag it into your applications folder.
