From the upper toolbar pick:
Insert - Symbol
Then just search until you find what you need.
Use "Insert Symbol" on Microsoft Word.
In MS Word 2007/2010 go to Insert > Symbol and choose pound symbol to insert at current cursor location.
On the toolbar select 'Insert' then 'Symbol' then 'Superscript' or select 'Insert' then 'Microsoft Equation' and follow the menu.
On Microsoft Word, go into Insert and Symbol, it'll be under Greek letters - you can cut and paste it from there
If you go to Insert Symbol and pick the Webdings font, you will find a wheelchair symbol that can be inserted into your document.
To insert the parallel symbol (∥) in Microsoft Word, you can use the Symbol feature. Go to the "Insert" tab, click on "Symbol," and then select "More Symbols." In the Symbol dialog box, find the parallel symbol in the list, select it, and click "Insert." Alternatively, you can type the Unicode for the symbol (U+2225) followed by pressing "Alt" + "X" to convert it into the parallel symbol.
Many programs will autocorrect (c) to the copyright symbol. Otherwise, you can insert a symbol from the keyboard map. In Microsoft Word, for example, select "Symbol" from the "Insert" menu.
Insert -> Symbol -> More Symbols..ANS2:Type 03bc then Alt+x.
In most versions of Microsoft Word there is an Insert menu. One of the options you can insert is symbols. You will need to select were in Word you want that symbol to appear and you may need to look around the various Fonts for the particular symbol that is a mobile 'phone
In Microsoft Word, the house symbol is typically located in the "Insert" tab in the "Symbols" group. You can click on "Symbol" and then select "More Symbols" to access a wider range of symbols, including the house symbol. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut key combination "Alt+127968" (for Unicode) to insert the house symbol directly into your document.
Go to the Insert menu and choose Symbol. You will then be able to choose various symbols including letters from the Greek alphabet. Also on Mac, Insert->Symbol, then chose symbol from the font menu.
Most processors have a special symbol key; on Microsoft Word go to "INSERT" then "SYMBOLS" and look for it there
