Yes, a 1750 ml bottle is smaller than a half-gallon bottle. A half-gallon is equivalent to approximately 1892 ml, so 1750 ml is less than that. Therefore, the 1750 ml bottle holds less liquid than a half-gallon bottle.
Smaller
The term "a fifth" refers to one fifth of a gallon. One fifth of a gallon = 750ml. Therefore, a fifth of Hennessy = One 750ml bottle of Hennessy. :-)
Same as any bottle, put a pourer spout in it, do the correct count into the glass. There are special pouring systems that eliminate the need to handle the heavy half gallon bottle. You good also go "old school" and pour into a shot glass..
same thing 1 gallon = 4 quarts 1 quart = 0.25 gallon
2 liters
the water will over fill
Odd, odd question. There are eight pints in a gallon, so 16 half-pints, or cups, per gallon. Unless a half-pint bottle holds more or less than 8 fluid ounces, the answer is 160.
Well, honey, a half gallon is equal to 1.89271 liters, so technically speaking, there are 0.94635 two-liter bottles in a half gallon. But who's really gonna sit there and pour out half a bottle just to be precise? Just grab another bottle and call it a day, darling.
6 and 2/5 glasses
I'm not answering as a mathematician, but as a drunk: When I ask for a 'half-gallon' of whiskey at the liquor store, the bottle I get is labeled as containing 1.75 liters. Hope that helps.
less than a full bottle... by about 95%... it looks like you'd be lucky to get $25 for it.
The bottle and stone take up space that the water would need to fill (displaces it). If a tank takes 2 gallons with out the bottle the bottle may take up the space of half a gallon. When the water fills the tank following flushing the ball-cock still raises but the bottle replaces half a gallon. Therefore the ball-cock switches off the water in the normal height but using less water.
