No, the Kindle is only for downloading and reading books.
No its also to web the browser
No, only from amazon.
Only unprotected .mobi books are compatible with the Kindle. You can use books in .mobi format from Project Gutenberg, for example, but not e-books that you've purchased and have DRM.
Yes Jeff Bezos did create the Kindles and he created them so people could have text books novels anything they loved to for only 9.99 dollars or less and he made them with an E ink display so you could read them in direct sunlight but the kindle I would recommend buying is the kindle touch if you go into its internal settings you can turn the 3g setting on that's what i did to save a 50 bucks and it works amazingly.
No it doesn't as it is only for downloading and reading books.

no its only games books and stuff like that
I've heard that the Sony is a better product because you can load it with books from anywhere but the Kindle only takes books from Amazon.com. See related link from PCWorld.com.
the cheapest price so far for an amazon kindle is $247 at zwee.com. all the books are sold on amazon only.
Kindle books are books with .MOBI format. This format is similar to Epub, pdf etc. This is specific to Amazon Kindle.Whenever you have any book in MOBI format, you can have a good reading experience on Kindle.
Note: for the time being, only US residents can lend Kindle books. Others can only receive loans.According to Amazon help, you can lend books two ways:by going to "Manage your Kindle" on your Amazon.com page, looking at your past orders and clicking the "Loan this book" button, then entering the recipient's name and email;from the book's page on Amazon. If it can be lent and you own it, there'll be a button there.
