Is a refurbished mac book as good as a brand new mac book?

Typically, Apple's refurbished products are a great way to save money on a 'new' computer. Apple often sells their products refurbished online; sometimes, they're current models, somtimes they're recently discontinued models. Either way, if you buy directly from Apple's 'Special Deals' section on their online store, they come with the same warranty coverage as a brand new product.

While it's possible that an old enough MacBook Pro may have less appeal than a current MacBook (for example, if the MacBook Pro is an original Core Duo model, vs. a brand new MacBook Core 2 Duo), most likely a refurbished MacBook Pro is going to give you a lot more bang for the buck.

Refurbished macs are as reliable as new macs. I have owned two refurbished Macs and never had a problem with either. They come with the same warranty as a new Mac and you can always purchase applecare to extend the warranty.

If you are buying it from Apple directly then it will be as good as a new model - they will mention any marks etc. in their description. It is usually a faulty component (such as the hard disc) that meant that it would not work when purchased as new so Apple take it back and fit a new replacement component and sell it as refurbished. If you are buying it from another supplier it is worth carefully checking how and why it has been refurbished.

i personaly like the mac book pro OS x any size, i like it because it is more new
