From what I have just read.. No it isn't safe, you won't get any malware or anything like that, but the whole thing is a scam.. I have read complaints from people saying they got charged $89 and the $4.95 they were expecting to pay was just for a trial offer.. Other complaints were that after signing up people weren't sent the activation e-mail and couldn't log into their accounts to contact support, and after giving out credit card details the people behind file fixation have helped themselves to money from the users credit card..
