There are a few cat litter products that can be used in a pet mouse cage to control odor. However, there are some types of litter that are deadly to the mouse. It is better to use a paper based bedding for a pet mouse.
I'm not sure what your question is but the urine of a female mouse smells the same as a males, the difference is that a male uses his urine to scent mark so is constantly spraying around his cage, yet the female urinates when her bladder needs emptying only.....hope this helps!!
You can put a new mouse in the same cage as another, but if your mouse prefers living alone, don't put the mouse in the cage. The older mouse should be better off solitary.
First move your mouse to a temporary home; i put mine in a run about ball. then disassemble the cage, throw out the old bedding and fill it with brand new bedding. then reassemble your cage and put your mouse back in. i suggest changing the bedding at least 1 a week; maybe more if your mouse has strong smelling urine. = )
you will need to keep you`re mouse cage about 70.
a hamster cage
A pet mouse would live in a cage like a hamster cage.
in a cage
Every day you should scoop out any turds that you see. Once a week you should throw out all the litter in the cage and wash and dry the cage. Then put in new litter.
Of coarse it can.
