System Time
The time command is used to time a command and not display the actual time. To display the time and date, the date command must be used.
This is displayed in the uppermost portion of the topdisplay. It will say something like "up 1 day, 19:04". You can also find the time the sustem has been running using the uptimecommand.
The debug ip rip command displays RIP routing activity in real time. The debug ip rip command can be issued at the user EXEC configuration mode.
The sfc scanboot command launches system file checker every time computer boots.
The 'more' command is considered a 'pager' program, which means it displays 1 screen page at a time as it pages through the file. This program allows you to look at the contents of a file one screen at a time, at your speed ..

The command to show how long it has been since the server was rebooted is uptime. This command provides information on the current time, how long the system has been running, the number of users logged in, and the system load averages. Alternatively, you can also use the who -b command, which specifically shows the last boot time of the server.
sfc/scanboot the above is only if you want it to scan every time the computer reboots. if you want it to only scan the next time you boot the command is sfc/scanonce
