Excel does not have an UPLOKVERT function. You might be thinking of VLOOKUP. You use VLOOKUP when your comparison values are located in a column to the left of the data that you want to find.
Groups are the vertical columns on the periodic table.
You can use the VLOOKUP function in Excel to find an answer located in a vertical table. Provide the function with the value you want to look up, the range of cells containing the data, and the column number where the answer is located.
Horizontal.
To change a horizontal table to a vertical table, you can transpose the table so that the rows become columns and the columns become rows. This can be done manually by copying the data and rearranging it or by using spreadsheet software that offers a transpose function.
Click inside text in table then look for Layout tab and click on it, find Text Direction and click on it to change to vertical
groups on the periodic table are the vertical coumns that go up and down. A period on the periodic table are the rows that go horizontal or across.
HLOOKUP
Every function has a vertical asymptote at every values that don't belong to the domain of the function. After you find those values you have to study the value of the limit in that point and if the result is infinite, then you have an vertical asymptote in that value
It changes the direction the text is, like from horizontal to vertical.
A lookup function like VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH can be used to find the answer located in a vertical table. VLOOKUP searches for a value in the first column of a table and returns a value in the same row from a specified column, while INDEX/MATCH combination can retrieve a value at the intersection of a certain row and column based on matching criteria.
A column in the periodic table is a vertical group of elements that share similar chemical properties due to having the same number of valence electrons. These columns are known as groups or families, and there are 18 groups in the periodic table.
