Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor/LCPC: These therapists have a Master's Degree in Psychology and have passed a licensing exam which allows them to use the initials LCPC after their names.
The salary of a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) can vary widely based on factors such as location, experience, and the setting in which they work. On average, an LCPC in the United States can earn between $50,000 and $80,000 annually. In metropolitan areas or specialized fields, salaries can exceed $90,000. Additionally, benefits and bonuses may also contribute to overall compensation.
