No, for the fastest wireless speed which lies on N band is 300mb and for the local wired ethernet for the norm speed right now is around 1gigabit which stands at around 1024megabit.
... and don't expect wireless *anything* to be better than its cable equivalent - the physics set limits on wireless comms that are less than wired comms.
An wired connection is always faster than a wireless connection.
I believe a WIRED connection is always faster than a wireless connection.

wired internet is a bit faster than wireless internet, and of course upgrading your internet speed and Gigabytes a month would make it way faster.
Depends on your wireless protocol vs your physical port speed. But typically, a wired connection is best if connecting to the same router.
With a wired connection, you are plugged in directly to your modem with cables. So, wired internet is generally faster than wireless, because it doesn't have to go through all of the airwaves and Wi-Fi routers. Even though cables can be less reliable than Wi-Fi in certain situations, wired connections tend to be faster, this is where you will probably get a higher throughput (more bandwidth) of speed. But an argument against wired connections is that they tend to have limited range, so you may need to switch up how far away from the router you are when watching movies and playing games online. Wireless internet is generally slower than wired because of the distance they have to travel, which makes them more susceptible to interference from buildings and other structures. So, we can say that wired is faster whereas wireless is more convenient. In the end, it’s on you to decide what works for you, wired or wireless.
If you have a working internet connection: Yes, yes you can! Had a working Comcast cable system with internet that was not wireless and had to purchase wireless router. (80$) Didn't like loss of connection and went wired and purchased 50 foot Cat 6 ethernet cable from Ebay ($20). Discovered that the PS3 test on the internet had much better results with wired connection. Better download and upload speeds with wired than wireless. so even if you already have a wireless internet connection you might want to switch to wired for faster download speeds and no loss of connection. The loss of connection was worse when system was not password protected.
I wouldn't say its a better choice. Far from it. Its not as fast as a wired connection and its not as secure or as reliable as a wired connection. The only benefit it offers is not having to have a wire draped out of the side of your laptop.
Change VPN protocols or Try switching to a different protocol, some are faster than others. or Optimize network settings: Check if your router settings and Wi-Fi signal strength are optimal. Use a wired connection: A wired connection often provides faster and more stable speeds than wireless
Depends on how close you are to the wireless router, the speed of your computer, and your isp. Usually it is faster than wired, unless you have dsl.
Wireless is a type of LAN, it has not replaced it. For some wireless is a simpler technology and certainly easire to install, however the wired lan is both faster and more secure. A wired lan also generally provides more management capabilities than wireless.
Wired communications have the following advantages. It is more secure than wireless communication since it uses cables rather than air, it is reliable because it is not susceptible to signal loss and it is faster as compared to wireless communication.
