By default they align to the left.
Any kind of number will right align. A label will initially left align, because it usually text, but you can set it to right align, usually when there is a value in the cell to the right that it is the label for.
In TextAlign, the difference between vertical and horizontal alignment is which way you align something. Horizontal alignment is set by aligning to the center, right, or left and vertical alignment is set by aligning to the top, bottom, or middle of a cell.
There is no definitive answer to that. Normally text labels are aligned to the left, particularly at the start of rows. Over columns they may be centred. However, there are no set rules, so you can align them the way you want as long as it is clear and consistent.
To align Avery labels you can use their templates with Word (See links below) or you can use the align option in their free layout software Design Pro or you can use their online design and print option.
Labels on the horizontal and vertical axes identify the variables being measured in a graph or chart. The horizontal axis typically represents the independent variable, while the vertical axis usually represents the dependent variable. These labels provide essential context for interpreting the data and understanding the relationship between the variables. Clear labeling is crucial for effective communication of the information presented.
They align during Metaphase I
Chromosomes align in the center of a cell during the metaphase stage of mitosis. This is when the spindle fibers attach to the centromeres of the chromosomes and align them along the cell's equator.
It is the default setting for text. It aligns the text to the right side of a cell. If you use left align, the text will be aligned to the left side of the cell. If you use center align, the text will be aligned in the center of the cell.
It labels items on a chart. Category labels go across the bottom, on the horizontal or X-Axis. Values are normally on the Y-Axis. So if it were a bar chart, a category would have a bar coming from the X Axis and its value would be measured by what point on the Y-Axis it is equal to. The category labels tell us what that bar represents, like sales or profits or a particular year etc.
They are called cell content. They could be labels or formulas.
The category labels are displayed along the horizontal axis in the column chart. On the other hand, the data is plotted along the vertical axis.
When comparing data with long category labels, a horizontal bar chart is often the best choice. This format allows for easier readability of the labels, as they can be displayed horizontally without crowding. Additionally, horizontal bars provide a clear visual comparison of the data values, making it simple to identify differences across categories.
