Apple do still use a standard called 'Human Interface Guidelines' to ensure minimum changes of program 'look-and-feel' between' programs. There has not been much call for 'tailoring of the screen interface' in the last 20 years.

If you are referring to the Mac OS, you should be aware that the Mac OS is uses a graphical user interface which makes it easier for users to navigate and use the operating system. If you are referring to the actual Macintosh hardware, you would use like any other computer. If an iMac, be aware that the screen contains the CPU as well as the monitor. The Hypercam screen capture software is only available for computers running the Windows operating system. Users of Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) can use the Quicktime Player (in the Applications folder) to capture a video of the screen from the New Screen Recording option in the File menu.
