You'r computer doesn't have the right software. It probably is because it hasn't got the software installed on it. or mabye the blank CD's are scratched, dirty, or damaged.

Because they are unformatted. Go start, go run, type format x:\ (where x = drive letter of CD writer) and insert CD when promted. Or format through burning software OR Windows key and E together, right click on the drive and select format
