On most computers, you have to have administrator privileges on your computer. You can log onto an administrator to change these settings.
probably because your computer is to old to handle online play or the halo may have a virus on it, update your computer to new software

You cant its not an online game. But Halo 2 is and you just hook an ethernet cord from the back of the xbox to your computer modem.
Halo: Combat Evolved is avilable for windows XP and Vista, and Halo 2 is available for Vista. Both are available at retail stores that sell PC games, and online. Currently there is no PC option for Halo 3.
Halo Zero cannot be played online. It must be downloaded from its website and installed. It does not support online play in the campaign, being a sidescrolling shooter game, but it does have several multiplayer maps.

No, it has not released yet for the PC, only Halo 1 and 2 are for the computer as of 2009.
