Shift + Enter moves the active cell up by 1 (up one row). This is the opposite of Enter (where the active cell moves down by 1 or one row)

With columns already on, use Ctrl-Shift-Return. So hold the Ctrl key and the Shift key together and then press the Return key or the Enter key.
Just as you would type any other text. Between lines I suggest you use <Shift> + <Enter> to put in a line break (not just <Enter> which would give you a paragraph break)
