Plug your Kindle into the computer. Go to the start button in the bottom left hand corner of your screen. Click on "my computer". Go to the Kindle button. On your computer find music and drag to the music folder. Then on your Kindle press the "menu" button and click "Sync & Check for items". It should work!
I love computer folks and their thought that all of us use their language. I was baffled by that message too. I did some research and here is what I came up with... Go to the start menu on your computer while the kindle is plugged into your usb port. Go to My Computer (or just Computer on Windows Vista). Open that and you should see your kindle in one of your drives. Right click over that drive and you should see an option to eject. Click on that and you should be able to go back to reading your kindle. Why it doesn't say "Go to start menu, then my computer then right click on kindle and click eject" to continue reading while plugged into the usb port....is totally beyond me.
take the sd card out of the kindle fire and put it in the computer and it should be in one of the foles if you dont have a sd card use a move cord
PC World is always available online, and should be available with the Kindle.
Apple iPad are a great choice. Other options to consider might be a Kindle or Kindle Fire. Speaking as a woman, I would love to get a tablet or Kindle for Christmas.
