A worksheet contains columns, rows and cells and is where you do your work. Each worksheet has a name. You can have more than one worksheet in a workbook. Each worksheet has a tab at the bottom of the screen, with its name on it. This is a sheet tab. It allows you to identify the different worksheets and by clicking on a sheet tab, you can change from one worksheet to another.
The Freeze Panes button in the Windows group on the View tab in Excel allows users to keep specific rows or columns visible while scrolling through the rest of the worksheet. This feature is particularly useful for maintaining context, as it enables users to view headers or key information without losing track of their position in large datasets. By selecting rows or columns to freeze, users can enhance their navigation and data analysis efficiency.
