i recently renewed my subscription to MSN. part of the renewal included Web Root spy sweeper and McAfee anti Virus protection. I cant see any of that on my Computer programs. Where is it and am I protected?
A firewall blocks or allows certain programs from accessing the internet. It can also be allowed to only deliver content that was sent to explicitly to your IP address. That means if you didn't request a page it will ignore that page and not show you the "pop up" or whatever was being sent.
