Use the Backslash key, just above the "return" key on the right side of the keyboard. The key will have two characters: | ("pipe") and \ ("backslash").
To type a slash on a Microsoft Surface tablet, locate the forward slash key (/) on the on-screen keyboard or physical keyboard. If using the on-screen keyboard, you may need to switch to the numeric or symbols layout by tapping the "?123" key. For a backslash (), hold down the "Alt" key (if using a physical keyboard) and press the key located above the "Enter" key. If you're using the touch keyboard, you may find the backslash on the symbols page as well.
If your keyboard won't type a question mark or forward slash, it could be due to a stuck key, a malfunctioning keyboard, or incorrect keyboard settings. Check if the keys are physically stuck or if there's debris underneath them. You can also verify your keyboard layout settings in your operating system to ensure they match your physical keyboard. If the issue persists, try connecting a different keyboard to see if the problem is hardware-related.
