Ares really only battles twice in the entire series. The first is in the book The Lightning Thief when Ares is fighting against Percy on a beach in Los Angeles. The second is when he is helping the other gods to fight Typhon in The Last Olympian. I belive those are the only battles Rick Riordan ever mentions.
