I'm guessing by Computer Threats you mean viruses, they basically go and corrupt files your computer needs to boot or perform tasks. Some simplistic ones can be written in batch files in about 1 min but these are much less effective than the ones that are written in more sophisticated programming languages such as Assembly which can really wreak havoc on your pc.
