Antibiotics are only meant for short term use to kill bacteria. Your body will develop a resistance and need a higher dosage for it to work the same (which isn't possible). Same rule applies for a skincare regime that includes Salicylic Acid or Triclosan...they're antibiotics, and will prove to be ineffective over time.
