A clustered column chart is where you have different coloured columns for each category/series, whereas a stacked is where you have one column with different categories/series stacked up on the one column, i.e. will look like a column of many colours.
A bar chart is used when you have a standard column and a variable column, it is used to indicate the differences of the variable in each of the standard.
A bar chart is a series of vertical or horizontal bars, varying in height (or length) to reflect the value of each piece of the data on which the chart is based. In the case of a line chart a dot is placed at the same height as each of the bars and the dots are connected by a line.
A pie chart is round with "slices" to identify data items. A column chart is a series of columns to identify data items. A pie chart allows you to see how all the parts fit into the whole. A column chart allows you to compare all the parts with each other.
You can make one with Excel. In the first column, list the elements. In the second column, list the percent each element makes of the whole compound.Highlight the column of percents.Use the chart wizard to make your chart -- choose pie chart.Adjust the chart as you like.
A stacked column chart allows each column to represent more than one value. So if you wanted to see how sales you had in four regions, but wanted the four regions in a single column, then you would use a stacked column chart.
At the top of each column of each table.
A pie chart or, if you want to show similar details for a number of wholes, a "100 percent stacked column" chart. An example of the second might be the gender split over a number of forms in a school. Each year or form would be a whole column, and each would be divided into boys and girls.
The Indian place value chart is the place value system we use. Each column going left is ten (10) times bigger than the previous column; meaning that each column going right is ten (10) times smaller than the previous column. In this system, between the units (1s column) and the tenths (1/10s column) is the decimal point. For example, in the Indian place value chart they take a number like 253 and segment it. the 2 is placed in a column under the hundreds place, the 5 is placed in a column under the tens place, and the 3 is placed under the ones place.
The best type of chart to compare individual values is a bar chart, as it visually represents each value with distinct bars, making it easy to see differences in magnitude. Bar charts can be oriented vertically or horizontally, allowing for flexibility depending on the data and preference. For even clearer comparisons, using a clustered bar chart can help when comparing multiple categories across the same values.
In a party-column ballot or "Indiana ballot," the names of candidates are placed in separate columns according to their party affiliations with the party name at the top of each column.
The legend tells you what each bar or column or line or pie slice etc. represents on your chart. It is usually colour-coded to help you and has the names beside them that are got from your spreadsheet or just as Series1, Series2 etc., if you did not specify names.
