To burn CDs on a laptop you will need to have a CD or DVD burner or now possibly you might have a Blu Ray burner, all of which can burn CDs, The other requirement is a burning program, this is a software item as apposed to hardware in the case of your CD DVD burner ect, Often this will be on your laptop in the operating system "XP Vista" ect, your other option is to buy a burning program for example I use "Nero Burning Rom" but there are many cheaper options on the net if you search for "CD Burning freeware" freeware being free programs provided by other computer users, If your laptop doesn't have a built in burner you can now buy external burners which can be attached by USB these will work in the same way as an internal one.
You connect the cable with the lap top. See the instructions in the handbook and may need to load the software to your computer and the pictures will be transfered to your lap top. Check your camera box for the CD software and instruction booklet.
