A Windows 64-bit operating system supports a larger memory address space, allowing it to utilize more than 4 GB of RAM, which enhances performance for memory-intensive applications. It also offers improved security features, such as hardware-based Data Execution Prevention (DEP) and Kernel Patch Protection. Additionally, a 64-bit OS can run both 64-bit and 32-bit applications, providing compatibility for a wide range of software.
You can run a 32bit operating system on a 64bit machine.
Abacus
yes but better with 64bit
Over the years I have found that computers with 64bit dual or quad core CPU's and a 64bit operating system is best.
Windows 7 is an operation system created by Microsoft. "Ultimate" denotes that the package has some features not included in lesser operating system packages such as "Home" or "Basic." "x64" shows that the release is intended for use on 64bit processor computers.
No, not unless all of the following .Confirm that the computer's processor and motherboard are both 64bit. All 64bit Windows Operating systems will only work on computers that have both 64bit processor and 64bit motherboard architectures.Confirm the computer has no less then the other minimum hardware requirements (Processor Speed, Ram memory, Hard Drive memory, etc.) for the Windows 7 64bit version you want to install.Windows XP 32bit must be removed/deleted before doing a clean install of Windows 7 64bit on the hard drive.
The difference between 32bit windows and 64bit windows is the resolution of the image and the higher the bit the better the image.
No
It depends on your operating system, windows 7 and vista 64bit will use as much ram as possible while windows xp has a max of 3.25gb of ram. 2gb is reccomended with any thing other than xp. While on my system with 4gb of ram, it will use about 1.5gb.
bata was windows xp 64bit
Yes, you can.
The answer is either is fine. What determines which you should use is the version of Windows 8 that you have installed on your computer. To determine this, go to the Control Panel and double-click on System. On the page that appears, it will tell you whether you are using a 32-bit or 64-bit version of the operating system. At that point, install the version of VLC that is the same as your copy of Windows 8.
