What are tools available in Photoshop for image editing?

Photoshop has a wide range of tools, which allow you to manipulate or create your own image. You can crop, rotate, change the colour or style, and plenty more useful tools. It's ideal for touching up photographs. There are different types of selection tools that are great for just editing a certain area. the best way to understand photoshop is to open an image and then play around with each tool individually, and get a feel for what it does. If you need help on a particular tool i can try and explain how it works and what it does. with tools you can do various things in elements like crop image with crop tool, paint with brush tool, write letters with type tool. when you select an tool you say to elements what you want to do and which commands you want to access

Tool which allows you to add single line or paragraph text to your images. Press T on keyboard then click on image and start typing to add single line of text. To add paragraph text click on image and drag to draw shape then start typing. Icon for Type Tool in Toolbox is letter T.
