To think!
You can think of the nucleus as the "brain" of the cells. It has functions similar to that of a brain. The nucleus is located in the center of the nucleolus of a cell.
I think he is imitating Robert Stack. Remember the show "Unsolved Mysteries"?
Cognitive functions in the brain, such as memory, attention, perception, and problem-solving, work together to influence the ways we think. These functions involve complex interactions between various regions of the brain and neurotransmitters.
AnswerYes. Your brain controls everything, including the heart, so if the brain stops, then you will forget how to breath.AnswerIf your brain completely stops functions, your heart will stop. However, in many cases the higher functions of the brain fail while the basic housekeeping functions continue to work. In that case you may be in a vegetative state, unable to think or recognize your surroundings, but your brain still tells your heart to beat and your lungs to breath.Comment on my new answerOh yeah, I agree.
To have an "intention" requires human thought and a human brain. A website is not human; it has no brain; it cannot think, plan, or intend anything. So the whole idea of the "mystery of intentions by computers" is rather ridiculous.
I think the brain works in doing things faster by controlling the muscles , nerves, or electrons that move throughout the brain ..different charges in the brain can determine the functions . Medicine and or drugs can also penetrate this as we know.
A brain has the ability to think creatively and multitask. For example, you can be doing jeopardy, and still think about groceries at the same time. And computers can't think creatively, they just do what they're told - you can't tell the computer to creatively design a shirt by itself.
The organ which does the thinking is the brain and it may seem odd but your feelings come from the brain too not the heart so next time you're stuck in a problem think with your brain not your heart! :)
I think it was Will Ferrel imitating George W. Bush.

I think the main organs are the brain and the actual nerves.
